Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marian Graves (ranked 4346 p4p, 6766 weight class) and Cain Velasquez (ranked 521 p4p, 672 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marian Graves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cain Velasquez! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Fedor Mirinova and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Graves drives through with a takedown into guard. Velasquez tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Graves's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Graves being controlled here momentarily. Velasquez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Velasquez trying to keep a closed guard but Graves is proving a slippery customer.

Velasquez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Velasquez taking some punishment here, with Graves in his half guard. Graves is looking to take a break and control but Velasquez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Velasquez tries to get to full guard but Graves has control of the leg. Graves has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Graves controlling the action here. Velasquez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Velasquez wants to control but Graves is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Velasquez manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Velasquez is trying to maintain the position but Graves is very close to passing his half guard.
