Zapata throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zapata throws a jab but it's blocked by Lban.
Lban steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zapata.
Lban appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Zapata doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lban counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Zapata thinking.
Lban digs a good hook to Zapata's body.

Lban fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Zapata looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Chief Zapata seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zapata connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lban. Lban circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Zapata takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Garaile Lban has been cut.
Lban is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Zapata can do to turn this around?

We've been told by Lban's head coaches at Death Valley Training Facility that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Zapata pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Zapata cracks Lban with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Lban falls to his knees and Zapata doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chief Zapata!
Chief Zapata seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
The defeated Garaile Lban had this to say: 'Thanks for coming..I'll be back'.
