Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Solomon Nao (ranked 285 p4p, 471 weight class) and Mfer Phol (ranked 42 p4p, 63 weight class). Nao comes to the cage accompanied by The End. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Solomon Nao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mfer Phol!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.

Phol scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Solomon Nao has been cut.
Phol misses with a hook. Nao ducked under it nicely.
Phol dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nao slips a straight right by Phol.
A little feinted left hand from Nao on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
That kick from Nao tenderised Phol's leg. Phol is trying to keep his angry face on.
Phol throws an off balance right hand
and Nao counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Mfer Phol has been cut.
Phol throws out a loose jab but Nao uses good head movement to avoid it.
A little feinted left hand from Nao on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Phol with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nao to score with a decent uppercut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nao has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Wild Beasts Zoo in the buildup to the fight.

Phol lands a jab to the head.
Phol's jab looks to have found its range, popping Nao under the eye.
Nao moves out of range of the strikes.

Phol swings for the body but Nao moves out of range.
A decent looking cross lands there for Nao.
Phol throws out a powerful jab.
Nao with a nice calf kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nao defending well as Phol loads up on a big left hand.
Phol is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Phol looks to throw the jab but Nao is out of range.
Nao moves forwards but Phol connects with a nice, crisp jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nao lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Nao lands a big uppercut and Phol crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Phol looks OK. Nao waves Phol back to his feet!
Phol gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Nao.
That has opened up Mfer Phol's cut even more.
Nao scores with a leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nao dances in with a quick combination. Phol is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Nao snaps Phol's head back. Phol stumbles backwards against the cage. Nao steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Phol's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Phol just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Solomon Nao!
