Peieira misses with a jab to the body
and Trevors counters with a one-two to the body.
Trevors tries to clinch up.
Trevors lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Trevors digs a good body shot into Peieira's ribs.
Peieira throws a head kick but Trevors moves out of range.

Peieira shoots in looking for a takedown. Trevors tries to sprawl out of it but Peieira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Trevors manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Peieira has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Trevors stalks Peieira and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Peieira's face. Peieira staggers backwards, shaken.

Trevors fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Peieira manages to avoid it.

Peieira is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Trevors knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Peieira wants to lay and pray for a moment but Trevors keeps working.

Peieira goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Trevors has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Peieira but great work by Trevors.
Peieira is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Trevors's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Trevors got a little sloppy there for a moment and Peieira has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Trevors has managed to get both his arms back between Peieira's legs - danger averted.

Oh but Peieira is tightening it up a little... Trevors has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Trevors reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Trevors taps out! Nice BJJ there by Peieira!
