Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, John Pollock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexis Bruhn! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bruhn misses with a takedown letting Pollock counter with a right hand. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bruhn. Bruhn tries for a takedown but Pollock circles away easily and Pollock counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bruhn thinking. John Pollock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexis Bruhn. Bruhn shoots in for a takedown but Pollock shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Pollock half committed to a counter leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bruhn tries for a takedown but Pollock circles away easily and Pollock counters with a three punch combo that has Bruhn backing up. Bruhn nods at Pollock to acknowledge the strikes. Alexis Bruhn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bruhn looks winded! Bruhn with a lazy takedown attempt and Pollock connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Bruhn with a lazy takedown attempt and Pollock counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bruhn has his takedown stuffed and Pollock counters with a right hand to the body. Bruhn gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Pollock counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
 Bruhn is rocked! Bruhn doesn't succeed with the takedown and Pollock counters with a slapping leg kick. Bruhn is still on wobbly legs! Can Pollock finish him? Bruhn misses with a takedown and Pollock counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Bruhn off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Pollock follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Bruhn was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). John Pollock!
