Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rasmus Reedtz (ranked 3080 p4p, 4224 weight class) and Tandi House (ranked 330 p4p, 412 weight class). Tandi House is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rasmus Reedtz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tandi House! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Sergei Dronov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reedtz thuds his right hand into House's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Reedtz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from House. House takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Reedtz throws a body kick that misses and House counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by House. House is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. House throwing strikes but missing. House wants to control from the top but Reedtz keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. House postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. House throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Reedtz lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Reedtz shoots in for a double leg but House sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. House fails with a takedown attempt. Good standup being displayed there by Reedtz as he connects with a hook.

A momentary lapse in concentration from House enables Reedtz to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. House manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. House wriggles free and stands up. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! House throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
House tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Reedtz was well out of range. Poor timing from House. An attempted straight right counter from Reedtz misses the target. Reedtz changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. House looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Reedtz working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Check out the look on Reedtz's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Rasmus Reedtz overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Reedtz working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Reedtz scores with a couple of good hammerfists. House wants to control but Reedtz is keeping busy and won't allow it. Reedtz wants to take a breather but House is having none of it. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Reedtz lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Reedtz prevents House from improving his position.

House taking some punishment here, with Reedtz in his half guard. Reedtz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but House sees it coming and defends easily. House tries to avoid it but Reedtz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag House to the ground. House escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. House drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Reedtz defends it well. Reedtz throws a head kick that misses. Reedtz looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
House shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Reedtz sprawls well. Reedtz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. House gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reedtz cracks a nice hook into House's ribs.

That's going to take a lot out of Tandi House. House misses with a body shot.

House takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Reedtz tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Reedtz scores with punches from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A big shot lands for Reedtz! That's hurt House! Will he recover? Reedtz fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
