We've been informed that Diaz has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Diaz is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A bit of a pause in the action here. Del Oeste controlling the positon. You can see the frustration on Diaz's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Diaz trying to control but not successfully. Diaz might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Del Oeste haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
And that's the end of the fight! Diaz wins on points by 9 to 8. Dick Diaz spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. Ryan Del Oeste was interviewed post fight and said 'Tomorrow I'll be back in camp training, getting better than ever. Then I will come back and show what I am really made of.'. |
