Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maximilian Rockatansky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Willis!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Chad Campbell.

Rockatansky scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Rockatansky throws a series of strikes that have Willis backpedaling.

It looks like John Willis has been cut.
Willis dodges the punch combination from Rockatansky.
Rockatansky lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Willis backs up against the cage.
Rockatansky throws a nice looking combination but Willis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Willis finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rockatansky scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Willis fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Willis throws a head kick that misses.
Rockatansky lands a jab-cross combination.
Rockatansky throws a left and a right that both miss

and Willis moves into the clinch.
Rockatansky blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Willis fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Willis tries to score a body lock takedown but Rockatansky shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Maximilian Rockatansky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Willis.

Willis has hold of one of Rockatansky's legs. Rockatansky is fighting the takedown attempt but Willis gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Willis wants to control from the top but Rockatansky keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rockatansky tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Rockatansky looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Rockatansky is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Willis is controlling him.
Willis trying to control the position from guard on top but Rockatansky is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Rockatansky is working the combinations to good effect here.

Willis shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rockatansky defends it nicely.
Willis on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Willis throws a right hand that Rockatansky ducks under and follows up with a left that Rockatansky also avoids with ease.
Rockatansky misses with an uppercut. Willis saw that one coming.
Rockatansky stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

That has opened up John Willis's cut even more.
Maximilian Rockatansky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Willis is rocked!
Rockatansky ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Willis's jaw. Willis's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Rockatansky does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Maximilian Rockatansky!
A very excited looking Maximilian Rockatansky rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
