Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 61 - 51 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, John Kyle Romo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antero Vuori! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vuori lands with a nice body kick. Vuori lands with a cross. Romo lands the left hand. Vuori bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like John Kyle Romo has been cut. Vuori keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Romo tries to keep at a distance but Vuori has taken the fight into the clinch. Vuori pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Romo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at House of 1000 Corpses in the buildup to the fight. John Kyle Romo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. and before Romo has any time to reset, Vuori cracks him with a big right hand that drops him face first to the canvas! He's hurt! I don't think he's going to get back up from that one! He's trying but he's doing the chicken dance and has face planted into to ropes, causing the referee to bring this fight to an end! This one is all over!
