Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Markku Osteri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deon Du Plessis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Osteri comes to the cage accompanied by Aino Akti - Kerrankin tarpeekseen. Du Plessis has chosen Fort Minor - Remember the name as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Deon Du Plessis!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Du Plessis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Osteri throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Du Plessis's waist but Du Plessis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Osteri off to one side.
Du Plessis missing with a left hand there. Osteri was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Du Plessis closes the distance and clinches.
Du Plessis landing knees to the head.
It looks like Markku Osteri has been cut.
Osteri is working for takedown but Du Plessis is calmly controlling the position for now.

Du Plessis connects with a nasty looking knee right to Osteri's face.

A looping hook to the body misses from Osteri. Du Plessis does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Du Plessis! Osteri is out on his feet! Du Plessis rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Osteri is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Osteri is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
