Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shu Fang Tzeng (ranked 1358 p4p, 3643 weight class) and Urho Viikate (ranked 78 p4p, 185 weight class). Tzeng comes to the cage accompanied by Mantra Chant. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shu Fang Tzeng! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Urho Viikate! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.

Viikate throws a low kick but it's checked well by Tzeng. Viikate misses with a straight right. Tzeng forces Viikate back against the cage and clinches. Viikate throws a knee to the head but misses.

Tzeng has been working on his balance at Fist of Fury Training Center, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Viikate. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shu Fang Tzeng. That's going to take a lot out of him. Viikate doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Viikate postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Viikate has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tzeng defends it well. Tzeng is refusing to be controlled, as Viikate sits in half guard.

He's managed it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Viikate avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Tzeng ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Tzeng no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Viikate is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Tzeng is trying to control the position but Viikate postures up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tzeng keeping moving, preventing Viikate from controlling successfully. Viikate got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tzeng has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Viikate has managed to get both his arms back between Tzeng's legs - danger averted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Viikate keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tzeng's head. Tzeng looking to control.
Tzeng wants to sweep but no luck. Viikate sitting in guard, not really doing much. Tzeng has his foot on Viikate's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think.
