Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tobig Tofail (ranked 1629 p4p, 3333 weight class) and Cole Kong (ranked 75 p4p, 141 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tobig Tofail! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cole Kong! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kong cracks Tofail with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Kong shoots in for a takedown but Tofail shows good takedown defense. Tofail misses with the body kick and Kong decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tofail's guard. Kong working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tofail's head. Kong trying to control but Tofail is working from the bottom. Kong prevents Tofail from getting back to his feet. Kong postures up and lands a big shot to Tofail's brow. Kong chips away with some ground and pound. Kong content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Kong with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Kong is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Kong looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kong stands up over Tofail, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Kong lands a couple of decent looking shots. This has been an exciting period of action! Kong postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Kong prevents Tofail from getting back to his feet. Kong content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Kong controlling from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kong stands up over Tofail, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Tofail is trying to control the position but Kong postures up. Kong has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kong distracts Tofail with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Kong is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Tofail is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kong trying to control but Tofail is working from the bottom. Kong with a nice head shot there. Kong trying to control the position from guard on top but Tofail is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tofail looking to control.
Kong lands a couple of elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kong scoring with punches to the head and body. Kong makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Kong lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Tofail is rocked! Kong gets to his feet and stands over Tofail, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Tofail felt that one! Kong unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Tofail from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cole Kong! An out of breath Cole Kong thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
