Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Ferreira Alves (ranked 7283 p4p, 4618 weight class) and Lazar Markov (ranked 724 p4p, 560 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Alves might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Mountain - Jucifer. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Horrible takedown attempt by Markov or perhaps it was just good defense by Alves, which made it look bad.
Felipe Ferreira Alves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lazar Markov.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Alves drops Markov with a straight right hand, right on the button! Alves follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
