Fields wants to clinch up but Dick keeps it at a distance.
Nice body kick there by Fields.
Fields gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Dick decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fields's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dick works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Fields is looking to regain half guard here but Dick keeps moving and retains side control.
Dick has hold of Fields's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Fields tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Dick cranks the arm and Fields screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Fields, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Nick Dick!
After the fight, Nick Dick was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
