Sloppy strikes from McDonald. Those never looked like landing.
Franca fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McDonald sprawls well initially but Franca persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
McDonald looking for submissions off his back.
Franca is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
McDonald is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Franca pulls his head out easily.
Franca looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
