The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leyva punishes Kolesov's body with a nice straight punch.
Kolesov ducks right into an uppercut from Leyva.
Kolesov misses with a combination
and Leyva counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Leyva displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Evgeny Kolesov has been cut.
Kolesov misses with an uppercut. Leyva saw that one coming.

Kolesov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Leyva to the mat! Leyva manages to get full guard.
Leyva is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kolesov's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Leyva preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Kolesov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Kolesov tries to free his leg and advance position but Leyva is retaining full guard.
Leyva is looking to stand up but Kolesov isn't so interested in that idea.

and Leyva connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Leyva stuns Kolesov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

and Leyva scores with a counter punch that sends Kolesov to the canvas! Leyva smells blood - he's punishing Kolesov with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Kolesov has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
