PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Matt Lewis (ranked 3060 p4p, 5715 weight class) and Lil Twizzy (ranked 165 p4p, 231 weight class). Lewis comes to the ring accompanied by I Need You. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Matt Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lil Twizzy!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and George Francis.

Lewis walks into a left hand.
Twizzy blocks a head kick by Lewis.
Twizzy throws out a counter right but Lewis avoids it with no problem.
Lewis stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Twizzy.

Lewis gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Twizzy looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Twizzy wants to get back to striking at distance but Lewis won't allow it.
Twizzy misses with a short punch on the inside.
Twizzy keeps control of Lewis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Twizzy manages to break the clinch.
Twizzy connects with a right hand. Lewis shakes it off.
Twizzy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lewis has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Twizzy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Twizzy throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lewis's head.
Twizzy misses with a double jab.
Lewis with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Twizzy to score with a decent uppercut.
Lil Twizzy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice shot lands for Twizzy.
Lewis takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Matt Lewis has been cut.
Lewis is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Lewis fails in his attempt to clinch.
A little jabbing left from Twizzy on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Lewis takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Lewis is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Twizzy connects with a quick right hand that sends Lewis tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Lil Twizzy!
Lil Twizzy took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'I am the best #FreeBigTwizz'.
In defeat, Matt Lewis stepped up to the mic, saying 'I will be better the next fight'.
