Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Roger Daly (ranked 5729 p4p, 5985 weight class) and Jon Fairtex (ranked 570 p4p, 583 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roger Daly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Fairtex! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fairtex misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Daly throws a big counter combination but Fairtex scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Daly keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Daly moves into the clinch. Daly misses with an elbow over the top. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Fairtex is looking to break free of the clinch but Daly has double underhooks. Daly keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Fairtex's efforts to push away. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Daly is trying to force a seperation but Fairtex has the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daly wants to break the clinch but can't.
Daly breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fairtex lands a nice leg kick that just misses Daly's sensitive parts. Fairtex darts in trying to clinch and Daly counters with a good low kick that Fairtex was not able to check.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daly tries a head kick but it misses.
A punch combination from Fairtex misses. Daly punishes Fairtex's body with a nice straight punch. Fairtex tries to clinch but Daly is having none of it. Daly appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. A nice leg kick lands there from Fairtex. Fairtex gets tackled into the ropes by Daly. Daly maintains the clinch. Fairtex keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Daly's efforts to push away. Fairtex has Daly pressed against the ropes, preventing Daly from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Daly manages to break the clinch.
Daly blocks a jab. Fairtex rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Fairtex takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daly has Fairtex up against the ropes in a clinch.
Daly pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Fairtex has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fairtex tries to clinch but Daly moves out of range. Daly tries a head kick but it misses.

Daly just misses with a punch to the body.
Fairtex throws a sloppy head kick and Daly moves out of range easily. Daly rushes Fairtex and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Fairtex breaks the clinch.
Jon Fairtex has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Roger Daly is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Fairtex fails with an attempt to clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Roger Daly showed his dominance in that final round. Well Daly has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
