PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mana Festation (ranked 1536 p4p, 1016 weight class) and Rap Tori (ranked 167 p4p, 121 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Festation thuds his shin into the meat of Tori's side.
Festation fails to land with a series of punches.
And Tori tries to counter it with a takedown but Festation pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Festation tries to lock up and control but Tori gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Tori is looking for a kimura here.
Tori has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Tori gets control of Festation's arms and successfully pulls guard. Tori will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Tori escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Festation gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Festation might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Tori is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Festation is tapping! Great win for Tori!

Rap Tori was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
