Gozen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Day throws the left hand but Gozen avoids the punch easily.
Gozen misses with a left hand
and Day counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Day shoots for a takedown but Gozen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

We've been hearing reports that Day has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Gozen pushes off an throws an elbow but Day leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Gozen has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Gozen drops Day with a straight right hand, right on the button! Gozen follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Tomoe Gozen decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
