Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Anderson (ranked 4910 p4p, 4274 weight class) and Ash Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ash Williams told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcus Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ash Williams! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams gets tackled into the cage by Anderson. Anderson maintains the clinch. Williams looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Anderson stalling the fight.
Williams drops down looking for an ankle pick but Anderson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Williams has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Anderson keeps the fight on the outside. It looked like Anderson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Williams tries to clinch up. Anderson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Williams closes the distance and clinches up with Anderson, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes Anderson against the cage but Anderson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Anderson drives through and clinches with Williams against the cage.

Anderson displaying some good clinch control by pressing Williams up against the cage. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Anderson for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anderson digs a right hand into Williams's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Williams's gas tank. Anderson drags the fight down to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson pulls Williams in close to his closed guard and prevents Williams from doing any damage or advancing position. Anderson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Williams is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Anderson has latched onto it... Big trouble! Anderson pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Williams is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Anderson!
