Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between co Two (ranked 6477 p4p, 6098 weight class) and Ken Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). co Two has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, co Two!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ken Mitchell!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.

Two tries for a takedown but Mitchell circles away easily

and Mitchell counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Mitchell trying to control the pace.

Mitchell is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Mitchell is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mitchell is trying to control. Two wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Mitchell winds up and cracks Two with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Two tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Two trying to control but Mitchell postures up.

Mitchell is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Two is just riding it out for now. Mitchell eventually gives up the hold.

Mitchell is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Two has managed to free his arm - good work.

Two is trying to control but can't.
Two makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Two.
Mitchell controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Mitchell lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Mitchell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Two swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Two really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Two is not content to let Mitchell control the position.

Two knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mitchell on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Two is trying to control Mitchell's posture but Mitchell avoids it.

Two can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mitchell postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Two's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Two tries to clinch but Mitchell moves out of range.

Mitchell gets tackled into the cage by Two. Two maintains the clinch.
Two jumps guard but Mitchell stands there with Two around his waist. Two gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Mitchell is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Two can't fight it off and eventually Mitchell manages to take the fight to the floor. Two looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Two trying to keep a closed guard but Mitchell is proving a slippery customer.

Mitchell might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Two haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Mitchell seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Mitchell is looking for a kimura but Two is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mitchell to get the leverage.

Mitchell has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Two's face.
Mitchell takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Mitchell moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Two has worked his arm free - good work by Two!
Two is not content to let Mitchell control the position.
Mitchell passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Two!

Mitchell is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Two can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Mitchell wants to take his opponent's back but Two doesn't allow it.
Mitchell avoids the attempt from Two to control.

Mitchell can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Two is looking to escape.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ken Mitchell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Two shoots for a double leg takedown but Mitchell sprawls well. He's pushed Two's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Mitchell closes the distance and clinches.

Mitchell pulls guard effortlessly.

Mitchell is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Two defends well.

Mitchell has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Two can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Mitchell is trying to hold Two in close to prevent damage but Two has managed to pass into half guard.

Mitchell is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Mitchell decides to stand up.
Two throws a head kick but Mitchell moves out of range.
Mitchell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Two darts in looking for a takedown but Mitchell gets double underhooks and turns Two into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for co Two. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Two wants to clinch up but Mitchell keeps it at a distance.
No luck for Mitchell with that takedown attempt.
Mitchell fails with a takedown attempt.
Two throws a front kick aimed at Mitchell's knee but Mitchell avoids it well.

Mitchell dives in for a single leg takedown but Two sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Two seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
co Two is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mitchell takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Mitchell shoots in and drives through. Two sprawls well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Two tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mitchell swivels and escapes.
Mitchell throws a counter combo.

Two shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Two was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Mitchell throws Two to one side and escapes!
Mitchell shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Two sprawls well. Two wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mitchell gets slowly back to his feet.
Two throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mitchell's waist but Mitchell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Two off to one side.
Two lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mitchell backs up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Two is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Mitchell fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Two, pushing him back against the cage.

Mitchell has hold of one of Two's legs. Two is fighting the takedown attempt but Mitchell gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Mitchell sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Two's guard.
Two desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Mitchell seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Two does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Mitchell lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Mitchell has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Mitchell stands up and beckons Two to join him on the feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ken Mitchell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Mitchell winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
