Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Raboatta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slade Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steve Raboatta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Slade Wilson! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raboatta tries to bum rush Wilson with a series of wild strikes but Wilson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Raboatta misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Raboatta throws a right hand that Wilson ducks under and follows up with a left that Wilson also avoids with ease. Raboatta looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A jab-cross combination lands for Raboatta and sends Wilson crashing to the mat! Raboatta follows him down to the mat - Wilson regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Wilson is rocked!
It looks like Slade Wilson has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Raboatta tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Wilson is still in real trouble! Can Raboatta finish him? Wilson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Wilson seems to have recovered his senses. Wilson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Raboatta is working away from the top position though. Raboatta wants to stand up but Wilson is controlling the position.
Wilson wants to control but Raboatta is keeping busy and won't allow it. Wilson is pressing down on Raboatta's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Raboatta being controlled here momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raboatta takes a decent strike to the side of the head. Wilson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilson has his foot on Raboatta's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Raboatta works his way back into a safe position though. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Raboatta avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Wilson looks gassed! This has been an exciting period of action! Wilson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Wilson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Wilson managing to control the position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Raboatta wants to stand and escape but instead Wilson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Raboatta throws his legs up looking for a submission but Wilson uses it to pass to side control.
Wilson is trying to get an arm triangle but Raboatta is defending well. Raboatta wants to get back to his feet but Wilson drags him back down. Wilson lands a few punches from side control. Raboatta is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Wilson has just dragged him back down to the mat. Wilson advances to mount. Wilson wants to control the pace but Raboatta is squirming around nicely. Wilson lands a nice shot to the head. Wilson lands a big shot there that rocks Raboatta but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Raboatta tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Raboatta is desperately trying to improve his position but Wilson has a good base and remains in mount. Wilson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wilson landing strikes, looking to finish! Wilson working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Raboatta turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Wilson off and cradles Raboatta's limp body as Wilson celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Slade Wilson!
