This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 4 losses; Jurgen Tetsuo! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 2 losses; Long Hung Dong!
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Dong tries to clinch up but Tetsuo circles away and keeps his distance. Tetsuo appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Dong doesn't manage to clinch there - Tetsuo circles away.
Tetsuo changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Dong forces Tetsuo back against the ropes and clinches. Dong goes for a takedown attempt but Tetsuo pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Dong fails in his attempt to clinch. Tetsuo tries to counter with a takedown but Dong is quick to defend against it. Tetsuo tries to keep at a distance but Dong has taken the fight into the clinch. Dong jumps guard but Tetsuo turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing. Tetsuo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dong prevents it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dong tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Tetsuo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dong. Dong is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tetsuo pulls his head out easily. Tetsuo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Tetsuo wants to control but Dong is keeping him busy. Dong wants to get back to full guard but Tetsuo has passed into side control.
