Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darwin Jones (ranked 5180 p4p, 3552 weight class) and Alex Oscar (ranked 555 p4p, 434 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Darwin Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alex Oscar! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oscar fails with the takedown. Oscar on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Oscar misses with a double jab.
Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Oscar, before circling back to the center of the mat. A decent looking cross lands there for Jones. Good leg kick by Jones. Oscar shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Darwin Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Oscar. Jones jabs Oscar to the body, keeping him at a distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones rushes Oscar and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones closes the distance and pushes Oscar back into the cage. Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jones lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jones throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Oscar stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Jones tries to work over Oscar's front leg with a kick but Oscar checks it. Jones lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Jones digs a good hook to Oscar's body.
Oscar has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jones. Jones shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Oscar as he jumps to the side. Oscar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones throws a series of strikes that have Oscar backpedaling.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Oscar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jones sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jones looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Excellent takedown into side control there by Oscar. Oscar looks winded! Oscar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working. Jones can't do much from the bottom here. Jones holding on.

Jones trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Oscar doesn't escape. Jones's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Jones seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Oscar for as long as he can get away with.

Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! Oscar takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Oscar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jones.

Jones is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Oscar on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Is there anything that Oscar can do to turn this around? Oscar tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jones smiles and moves away.

A head kick from Oscar lands but Jones takes it in his stride. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Oscar tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jones defends well and Oscar ends up having to push Jones into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Jones throws a shot to the body.
Jones fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Oscar stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jones. Darwin Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones moves into the clinch. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Oscar is looking to break free of the clinch but Jones has double underhooks. Jones is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Jones unloads a knee to the mid-section. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Jones jumps guard and drags Oscar to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Jones looking for a guillotine here but Oscar defends easily.
Jones is pulling down on Oscar's head. It's preventing any offense from Oscar, at least for the moment. Darwin Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to stand up but Oscar is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Jones keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
And that's the end of the fight! Darwin Jones showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jones has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Darwin Jones! After the fight, Darwin Jones was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
