Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

Pyke digs a good hook to Mysterio's body.
Mysterio tries for a takedown but Pyke sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pyke throws a nice outside leg kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mysterio is defended easily by Pyke.
Pyke works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Pyke feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mysterios jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Pyke lands a leg kick that knocks Mysterio off balance momentarily.
Nice jab there from Pyke.
Pyke comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mysterio takes a shot to the body in his stride.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Monty Pyke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pyke slaps away a takedown attempt from Mysterio, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Monty Pyke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rey Mysterio.
A lazy left from Pyke finds it's target.
Pyke stuffs the takedown attempt from Mysterio. Mysterio gets slowly back to his feet.
Mysterio shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
It looked like Pyke was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Mysterio.

Pyke works Mysterio's body with a nice hook.
Mysterio closes the distance and clinches up with Pyke, looking for a takedown. Mysterio pushes Pyke against the cage but Pyke circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Mysterio gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Decent striking displayed by Pyke there.
Mysterio gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Mysterio tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Pyke is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Mysterio buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Mysterio!! Mysterio is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Pyke throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
