A little feinted left hand from Alcala on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Rodney Alcala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kaz McStafferson.
McStafferson dives in for a single leg takedown but Alcala sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

McStafferson shoots in for a double leg but Alcala sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
We've been informed that McStafferson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
McStafferson dives in and grabs Alcala's left leg, looking for a takedown. Alcala pushes down on McStafferson's head and hops out.
Alcala really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McStafferson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Alcala sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McStafferson somewhat.

McStafferson shoots in and bounces Alcala off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

McStafferson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Alcala was covering up waiting for the punch and McStafferson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

And McStafferson tries to counter it with a takedown but Alcala pushes his down on his head and steps out.
McStafferson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Alcala swivels and escapes.

McStafferson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Alcala bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McStafferson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Alcala has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but McStafferson is on him like a limpet, forcing Alcala back against the cage.

Alcala lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Alcala scores with an uppercut up the middle.
McStafferson jumps guard but Alcala stands there with McStafferson around his waist. McStafferson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
McStafferson is trying to pull guard but Alcala turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
McStafferson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Alcala smiles and moves away.

McStafferson drives through with a takedown into guard.
Alcala pulls McStafferson in to control the position.
McStafferson looking to pass the guard.
Alcala pulls McStafferson in close to his closed guard and prevents McStafferson from doing any damage or advancing position.
Alcala will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

McStafferson throws a sloppy strike and Alcala has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! McStafferson is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Alcala!

Rodney Alcala spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
