The fighters circling - Kelly throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kelly looks to throw the jab but Shearer is out of range.

Shearer throws a series of punches but Kelly avoids them all with ease.

and Kelly counters with a crisp one two that drops Shearer! Kelly thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Shearer to his feet! Shearer is in big trouble!

A little feinted left hand from Shearer on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Shearer throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kelly counters with a three punch combo that has Shearer backing up. Shearer nods at Kelly to acknowledge the strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shearer looks to land a combination but Kelly avoids it well.

It looks like Alan Shearer has been cut.
Kelly closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Shearer out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

In his post fight interview, David Kelly started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
