and Cartagena counters with a big 3 punch combo that drops Nurmagomedov on his ass! Nurmagomedov wobbles back to his feet half way through the count and though looking a bit dazed, the referee is going to allow the fight to continue!
Cartagena closes the distance and lands a lead uppercut that stumbles Nurmagomedov back against the ropes! Cartagena follows up with a jab and a huge straight right that knocks Nurmagomedov out cold! What a finish! Cartagena looks absolutely delighted, as he should do! Congratulations that man!

Don Cartagena decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
