Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Maya Chigg (ranked 7119 p4p, 3299 weight class) and Juanito Cortez (ranked 623 p4p, 387 weight class). Cortez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. $$$ kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Maya Chigg has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The fighters circle momentarily. Cortez darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Cortez lands a front kick to the face, that drops Chigg to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!
Chigg cracks Cortez with a good jab.

Chigg drives through and clinches with Cortez against the ropes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cortez lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Oh Chigg is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chigg swings wildly with an uppercut but Cortez uses good head movement to avoid it.

Cortez manages to break the clinch.
Cortez throws a leg kick that misses.
Chigg seems to have got his legs back now.
Cortez throws a nice outside leg kick.
Chigg takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Cortez knocks out Chigg with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Cortez before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Cortez picks up the big W with a huge KO!
