PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Piano (ranked 1801 p4p, 3650 weight class) and Tobias Funke (ranked 205 p4p, 377 weight class). Piano kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is AC/DC - Night Prowler. This should be a great matchup!

Funke scores with a leg kick.
Funke throws a predictable looking body shot
and Piano counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Piano getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
No luck for Funke with that takedown attempt.
Funke tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Piano is able to avoid easily.

Piano paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Piano uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Funke.
A quick step to the side and Piano tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Funke takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Piano throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Piano cracks Funke with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Funke looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Piano finish him?

It looks like Tobias Funke has been cut.
Funke throws a body punch but Piano moves out of range.
Piano definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Piano lands a big right hand that sends Funke crashing to the mat! Piano stays standing though and waves Funke back to his feet!

Funke is rocked!
Piano fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Funke out cold! Brutal finish!
