Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Scott Hill (ranked 598 p4p, 405 weight class) and Rama Arjuna (ranked 82 p4p, 56 weight class). Arjuna has chosen Om as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Scott Hill! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 39 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rama Arjuna! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hill rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Arjuna counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Hill cracks Arjuna with a right hand to the side of the head. Hill has been working on his boxing with his coaches at 3Band MMA in the buildup to the fight. Hill shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Arjuna pinned against the cage. Arjuna gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hill fails with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hill bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Arjuna's head backwards. Hill throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Arjuna is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Hill with a body shot. Rama Arjuna is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill looks to score with a jab to the body but Arjuna is just out of range. Hill throws a body punch but Arjuna moves out of range. Jab by Hill. Hill scores with a shot to the body.
Arjuna drops his hands momentarily and Hill takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Hill throws a predictable looking body shot
and Arjuna counters with a leg kick. Hill throws a lazy uppercut
and Arjuna counters with a nice body kick.
Hill misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Arjuna counters with a one-two to the body. Hill swings for the body but Arjuna moves out of range.
Arjuna doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Hill scores with a sloppy right hand. Arjuna should have avoided that one. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hill has his takedown stuffed and Arjuna counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scott Hill. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hill scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Arjuna doesn't seem bothered though. Hill misses the jab. Arjuna flicks out a counter leg kick but Hill steps away. Arjuna closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Hill throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Hill is trying hard to land a takedown here. Arjuna sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Hill throws a poor cross that misses
and Arjuna counters with a lovely shot to the body. Hill misses with a straight left. Hill looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Hill lands with a good body shot. Hill throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A nice side step and Arjuna releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hill misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Arjuna.
Hill swings widly with a right hand
and Arjuna counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hill's knee momentarily. Hill connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Hill fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Arjuna manages to avoid it. Arjuna throws out a counter right but Hill avoids it with no problem. Arjuna has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. A low kick from Hill misses and Arjuna counters with a left and a right that stings Hill. Hill scores with a jab to the body. Hill fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Hill listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Hill misses with a hook to the body
and Arjuna makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Arjuna moves out of range of the strikes. Arjuna throws a counter combo. Hill scores with a jab to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hill swings for the body but Arjuna moves out of range.
Hill misses the shot to the body. Arjuna takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Hill throws a predictable looking body shot
and Arjuna counters with a slapping leg kick. Hill misses with a jab to the body
and Arjuna counters with a crisp right hand that drops Hill! Arjuna lets Hill back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Hill is rocked!
It looks like Scott Hill has been cut. A low kick from Hill misses and Arjuna counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Hill out cold! What a finish! Arjuna is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rama Arjuna! Rama Arjuna is the new middleweight champion! Rama Arjuna thanked the fans post fight for their support. In defeat, Scott Hill stepped up to the mic, saying 'No one likes seeing their opponent's hand raised, but that just means that they were the better man today. My team at 3Band MMA and I will break down this match and make the proper changes for my next camp.'.
