This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 24 wins and 16 losses; Kamden Jackson!
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Jackson has his takedown stuffed so Toussaint counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Toussaint (2) vs (0) Jackson Jackson keeping moving, preventing Toussaint from controlling successfully. Jackson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Toussaint is one step ahead there. Jackson trying to keep a closed guard but Toussaint is proving a slippery customer.
Toussaint wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving. Toussaint might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson keeping full guard, as Toussaint tries to pass. Toussaint stopping the sweep attempt from Jackson. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Toussaint has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Jackson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Jackson is pressing down on Toussaint's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Toussaint looking to pass the guard. Toussaint sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson pushes a forearm under Toussaint's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Toussaint is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
