Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitch Andrews (ranked 7875 p4p, 2795 weight class) and Marcus Kempton (ranked 665 p4p, 348 weight class). Marcus Kempton is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mitch Andrews!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Kempton!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.

Andrews changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kempton looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Andrews shoots in looking for a takedown. Kempton tries to sprawl out of it but Andrews keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kempton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kempton enables Andrews to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kempton manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Andrews drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kempton looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kempton looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kempton!

Andrews is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Kempton jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Andrews manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Andrews tries to buck Kempton off but Kempton is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marcus Kempton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

The fighters circling - Andrews throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Kempton counters with a head kick. That will keep Andrews thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Kempton will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Andrews up against the cage.
Andrews drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kempton gets the underhooks and prevents it.
