Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Balis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and bobby george (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balis comes to the cage accompanied by Still Unbroken. Balis has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Balis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, bobby george! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! george closes the distance and clinches. Balis has had enough of the clinch but george keeps him there for the moment. Balis lands with a left to the head. george avoids the elbow strike from Balis, against the cage.
george breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. george has taken the fight to the clinch.
Balis is working for takedown but george is calmly controlling the position for now. Balis pushes off an throws an elbow but george leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. george with an attempt at a knee that misses.
george breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Balis darts in trying to clinch and george counters by clinching up. george is pushing Balis up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. george manages to break the clinch.
george fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Balis, pushing him back against the cage. george breaks the clinch.
Balis misses with a takedown and george holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Balis is breathing heavily. Balis is looking for a takedown up against the cage. george gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Balis. That's going to take a lot out of him. george stalling against the cage.
george has picked Balis up - he's going for a ride! george dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. george takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Balis pushes george off looking to stand but george dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. george is looking for a kimura here.

Balis has hold of george's hands but george slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. george decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. george drives through and clinches with Balis against the cage.
george has picked Balis up - he's going for a ride! george dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. george moves nicely into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Balis tries to buck george off but george is having none of it. george content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. george is working to tighten is grip on Balis's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Balis has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but george is really squeezing tight and eventually Balis passes out! george breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
