Longchain swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice takedown defense from Longchain. No joy for Bettis on that attempt.
Longchain scores with a sloppy right hand. Bettis should have avoided that one.

Bettis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Longchain is controlling him.

Longchain goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Bettis is on top in guard.

Longchain should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Bettis is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Longchain is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Longchain can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bettis tries to roll over but Longchain keeps him under control.
Longchain is nestled in close to Bettis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Bettis dives in and grabs Longchain's left leg, looking for a takedown. Longchain pushes down on Bettis's head and hops out.
Longchain drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bettis defends it well.

Bettis is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Longchain scores with a couple of nice shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Longchain keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Longchain has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Bettis is looking for a sweep. Longchain is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bettis scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Longchain manages to mount him!

Longchain landing strikes from the mount and Bettis is in trouble!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Longchain cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Bettis is wriggling around trying to escape.
Bettis is in a horrible position here. Longchain smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Bettis flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Longchain jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Bettis is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Bettis and Longchain has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Longchain is looking to take a break and control but Bettis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bettis prevents Longchain from moving into mount.

Longchain wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bettis, who protects the arm well.

Bettis wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Longchain has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Bettis's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Bettis is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Longchain!
