Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dylan Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Desmond Reagan! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Reagan checks a leg kick. Brown throws a leg kick but Reagan checks it. Reagan throws a quick inside leg kick. Reagan tries to close the distance and clinch but Brown swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Brown tries a head kick but it misses.
Brown throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Brown misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Reagan keeps the fight on the outside. Reagan doesn't manage to clinch there - Brown circles away.
Brown throws a series of punches but Reagan avoids them all with ease. Reagan fakes the leg kick and cracks Brown in the body. Reagan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brown sprawls well initially but Reagan persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Reagan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Reagan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Brown is looking to get back to is feet but Reagan passes into side control.
Brown is breathing heavily. Brown is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Reagan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Reagan off and has taken his back! Reagan controlling Brown 's hands. Brown doesn't have the hooks in and Reagan manages to turn into his guard.
Brown is working an open guard so Reagan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Reagan forces Brown back against the cage and clinches. Reagan drags the fight down to the ground.

Reagan throws a nice elbow from the bottom. Reagan is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reagan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Brown off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Brown gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Reagan. Reagan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Reagan wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving. Brown is looking to stand up but Reagan isn't so interested in that idea. Reagan gets to his feet. Brown looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Reagan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Brown! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Reagan controlling his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Reagan get's back to his feet. Brown throws a sloppy head kick and Reagan moves out of range easily. A low kick from Brown misses and Reagan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Reagan connects with a high kick. Reagan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brown looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Reagan wants to control but Brown is keeping him busy. Reagan taking a breather here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Reagan is looking to take a break and control but Brown is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Desmond Reagan dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Reagan counters with a shoot takedown. Brown fights it but they end up in guard. Reagan decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Brown is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Reagan lands a head kick. Brown smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Reagan moves into range and clinches up with Brown. Reagan prevents a takedown attempt there.
Brown makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Reagan drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Brown gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Brown wants to break the clinch but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown wants to get back to striking at distance but Reagan won't allow it.

Reagan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Reagan has hold of one of Brown's legs. Brown is fighting the takedown attempt but Reagan gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Brown is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reagan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Reagan controlling from the top position. Desmond Reagan has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reagan trying to control the position from guard on top but Brown is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brown looking to control.
Reagan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Reagan won't allow Brown to sweep him here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown is wriggling around but Reagan manages to pass to half guard.
Brown strikes from the bottom but Reagan passes into mount!

Reagan has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Brown's face.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Brown looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Reagan is hanging on to Brown's back as he tries to escape.
Reagan landing with strikes. Brown trying to control the position but Reagan manages to sink in the hooks. Reagan keeps control of the position as Brown tries to break free.
Reagan has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Brown's body.

Desmond Reagan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Reagan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Reagan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Brown keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Reagan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Reagan won't let Brown get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Reagan controlling from the full mount. Reagan landing strikes from the mount and Brown is in trouble! Reagan connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reagan get's back to his feet. Dylan Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reagan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Brown wants to get back to his feet but Reagan is dominant here and he's now got Brown's back! I really don't envy Brown right now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reagan tries to keep control of the position but Brown is staying busy. I would not like to be Brown right now.
Will Reagan go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Dylan Brown has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Desmond Reagan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. You can see the frustration on Brown's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
And that's the end of the fight! Desmond Reagan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Reagan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
