Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Radebach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Radebach pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nakamura shoots in and drives through. Radebach sprawls well. Nakamura shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Radebach but Radebach pushes him off and we're back to square one. Radebach misses with an uppercut. Nakamura saw that one coming. Radebach shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Nakamura counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Radebach wants to stand up but Nakamura is controlling him. Nakamura is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Nakamura tries to free his leg and advance position but Radebach is retaining full guard. Nakamura slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Nakamura is pushing down on Radebach's leg trying to pass to half guard. Radebach is fighting to maintain full guard but Nakamura has managed to sneak the leg through. Radebach is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Radebach is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nakamura's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nakamura's back! Radebach is trying to stick to Nakamura's back but Nakamura is turning into Radebach. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Radebach's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Nakamura. Nakamura won't allow Radebach to get back to his feet. Nakamura controlling from the top position. Nakamura has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Nakamura looking to pass the guard. Radebach controls Nakamura momentarily but Nakamura frees himself. Nakamura stands and throws Radebach's legs to the side, diving into side control. Nakamura remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nakamura moves into full mount! Nakamura is breathing heavily. Radebach tries to hold on but Nakamura postures up. Nakamura moves to the back. Nakamura not allowing Radebach to control his hands. Radebach breaks Nakamura's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Nakamura pulls Radebach in close to prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nakamura controls Radebach momentarily but Radebach frees himself. Nakamura seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Radebach wants to stand but Nakamura has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Nakamura has his hands on Radebach's head, controlling the position. Nakamura keeping moving, preventing Radebach from controlling successfully. Radebach throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nakamura works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Nakamura had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Radebach is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nakamura Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Radebach's back instead. Nakamura struggling to keep hold of the position.

Nakamura doesn't succeed with the takedown and Radebach counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Nakamura's guard now. Radebach wants to control from the top but Nakamura keeps moving. Radebach pushing down on Nakamura's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Nakamura slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The referee stands the fighters back up. Igor Nakamura just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Nakamura shoots in for a takedown but Radebach shows good takedown defense. Nakamura circles away from the clinch attempt.
Radebach tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nakamura shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Nakamura was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Nakamura controlling the position easily from mount. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Still, being mounted isn't any better. Radebach wants to hold on but Nakamura pushes him away. Nakamura controlling from the full mount. Radebach keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakamura tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Nakamura wants to control the pace but Radebach is squirming around nicely. Radebach is in all sorts of trouble here.

That was a close second round but I would say that Igor Nakamura will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Radebach moves into range and clinches up with Nakamura. Radebach drags the fight down to the ground.

He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Radebach for as long as he can get away with. Radebach gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Nakamura controlling from mount. Nakamura takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

Nakamura is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Radebach has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Nakamura tries to get the hooks in deep but Radebach pushed the leg off. Radebach manages to reverse the position and now he's in Nakamura's guard. Nice work there by Radebach.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Radebach misses with a combination
and Nakamura decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Radebach's guard. Matt Radebach has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nakamura trying to control but Radebach is working from the bottom. And that's the end of the fight! Igor Nakamura showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nakamura, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
