Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

A slapping body kick lands there for Joemez.
Joemez throws a nice outside leg kick.
Mike fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Joemez to the ground. Mike is now in Joemez's guard.
Mike sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Joemez's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Mike frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Joemez wants to hold on but Mike pushes him away.
Mike has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Joemez's face.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mike breaks from Joemez's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Joemez is desperately trying to improve his position but Mike has a good base and remains in mount.
Mike lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Joemez is rocked!
Mike softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Joemez is out cold! Mike jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Mike!
