Chuckwu fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Valdez looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Chuckwu shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Valdez is trying to defend but Chuckwu finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Valdez can do anything to dispel that myth.
Valdez scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Chuckwu manages to mount him!

Valdez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chuckwu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chuckwu softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Valdez is out cold! Chuckwu jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Obina Chuckwu!
