Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between chris mckinney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). mckinney kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is kiss my country ass. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Nelson has eaten all the pies!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Nelson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

mckinney tries to escape but Nelson is in control.
Nelson wants to lay and pray for a moment but mckinney keeps working.
mckinney is pushing Nelson's head away, looking to escape. Nelson manages to hold on to the position though.
mckinney takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
mckinney is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
mckinney trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Nelson in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Nelson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by mckinney, who protects the arm well.

Nelson has control of mckinney's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and mckinney regains control of the situation pretty easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nelson lands a big shot there that rocks mckinney but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Horrible takedown by Nelson or perhaps it was just good defense by mckinney which made him look bad.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

mckinney is trying to get back to his feet but Nelson has full control of the position and if anything, mckinney has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Nelson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

mckinney is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
