Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gemechu McKraken!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lewis Burwell Puller!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Konstantin Menshow.

McKraken throws a hook to the side of Puller's head but Puller sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

McKraken is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Puller doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McKraken.

Puller has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. McKraken is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

McKraken jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Puller walks away with a smile on his face. McKraken gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Puller on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Gemechu McKraken will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

McKraken looks to score with a jab to the body but Puller is just out of range.
Puller throws a hook to the side of McKraken's head but McKraken sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Puller fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches McKraken on the side of the head.
McKraken tries to move into range but Puller moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

McKraken shoots in for a double leg but Puller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

McKraken bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Puller's head backwards.
Puller takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Puller goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
McKraken fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gemechu McKraken. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

No joy there for McKraken, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Puller has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

McKraken is looking to control Puller's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McKraken avoid being mounted?
Puller wants to stand but McKraken has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
McKraken moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

McKraken had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Puller defends it easily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Puller wants to get up but he can't break McKraken's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
McKraken misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
McKraken moves out of range as Puller strikes.
McKraken uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Puller.
Puller might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Puller takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
McKraken shoots in but Puller avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gemechu McKraken. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

McKraken closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Puller did well to prevent McKraken getting side control.
McKraken is just content to waste time from the top position. Puller takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gemechu McKraken.
I think McKraken has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
