Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danny Wyadd (ranked 2869 p4p, 2388 weight class) and Khru Jako (ranked 381 p4p, 323 weight class). Jako has chosen Catch a Fire as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Danny Wyadd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Khru Jako! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wyadd tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jako swivels and escapes. Jako fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Jako pushes Wyadd away with a front kick. Jako stuffs the takedown. Wyadd fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Wyadd. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wyadd takes a body punch but keeps moving. A left lands for Jako. Jako has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Wyadd is landing a low percentage of strikes. Wyadd forces Jako back against the cage and clinches. Jako's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wyadd blocks a jab. Wyadd fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jako lands a really nice looking cross but Wyadd seems unphased.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wyadd tries to move into range but Jako moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jako has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jako lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Wyadd backwards. Jako throws a punch but it's blocked by Wyadd. Jako lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Jako managing to block the knees to the body from Wyadd.
Wyadd drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jako gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Wyadd is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jako to keep the fight standing. Jako lands a nice uppercut. Jako scores with a nice hook to the head. Jako lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Wyadd backwards. Wyadd looking for a takedown. Wyadd jumps into guard, dragging Jako to the mat.
Jako avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jako stands up and waves to Wyadd to follow him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wyadd shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Jako counter with a right hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wyadd tries for a takedown but Jako circles away easily and Jako counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Wyadd scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Jako tries to escape but Wyadd is in control. Wyadd misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Wyadd will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jako is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Wyadd has just dragged him back down to the mat. Wyadd tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wyadd has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jako is pushing Wyadd's head away, looking to escape. Wyadd manages to hold on to the position though. Wyadd is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jako is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Wyadd wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jako, who protects the arm well. Wyadd in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Wyadd working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Wyadd is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jako is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jako is trying to get back to his feet. Wyadd tries for a kimura but Jako is defending well. Jako really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wyadd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wyadd decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jako to his feet. Jako looks to land a left hand but Wyadd moved out of range nicely. Jako changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Jako slaps away a takedown attempt from Wyadd, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jako unleashes a big counter combination but Wyadd bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Khru Jako dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Nice sprawl there from Jako as Wyadd shoots in. A slapping leg kick lands for Jako.

Jako leaves Wyadd with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jako drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Jako slaps away a takedown attempt from Wyadd, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jako swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Wyadd. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wyadd shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jako but Jako pushes him off and we're back to square one. Wyadd moves out of range as Jako throws a body kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jako misses with a looping left. Jako throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wyadd sees it coming and avoids it easily. As Jako tries to get set, Wyadd tries to push him back and clinch up but Jako manages to avoid the attempt. Wyadd tries for a takedown but Jako sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A slapping body kick lands there for Jako. Jako cracks Wyadd with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Wyadd closes the distance and clinches up with Jako, looking for a takedown. Wyadd pushes Jako against the cage but Jako circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jako scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Jako lands a nice looking body kick. Jako lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Jako throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wyadd. Jako lands with a nice combination. Wyadd backs away looking to recover. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jako lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wyadd staying out of range there. Jako has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wyadd uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jako. Jako digs a good hook to Wyadd's body.
Jako throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jako scores with a leg kick.
Wyadd fails with a takedown attempt. Jako throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wyadd. Jako stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jako wants it to stay on the feet. Jako swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Wyadd. Wyadd has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jako finds it's way round the side to connect with Wyadd's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jako throws a nice outside leg kick. Jako misses the jab. Wyadd with a lazy takedown attempt and Jako counters with an outside leg kick.
Danny Wyadd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jako scores with a three punch combo!
Khru Jako seems to be getting the better of the standup. Jako throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wyadd sees it coming and avoids it easily. Wyadd clinches up with Jako and pushes him back against the cage. Jako scores with an uppercut up the middle. Jako prevents the takedown attempt.

Wyadd closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jako circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jako ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wyadd moves away. Jako drives through and clinches with Wyadd against the cage.

Wyadd is rocked! Wyadd tries to score a body lock takedown but Jako shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Wyadd goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jako prevents it.

Jako lands a hook that snaps the head of Wyadd backwards. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Jako. Jako lands a hook that snaps the head of Wyadd backwards. Oh Wyadd is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jako breaks the clinch.
Wyadd seems to have got his legs back now. Jako dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A slapping leg kick lands for Jako.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Khru Jako showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. Jako lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wyadd's sensitive parts. Wyadd moves out of range as Jako strikes. Jako stuffs the takedown. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wyadd is defended easily by Jako. Jako throws a push kick but Wyadd slaps the foot to one side. Wyadd takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Wyadd gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Jako gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Wyadd is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Khru Jako! After the fight, Khru Jako was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
