Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kissy ONeill (ranked 7168 p4p, 7438 weight class) and Azir Zarus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zarus has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Azir Zarus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kissy ONeill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Azir Zarus!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Alan Glass.

Zarus walks into a left hand.
A combination from ONeill does no damage.
Zarus fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kissy ONeill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zarus shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Zarus looks winded!
ONeill is looking to escape.
ONeill makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
ONeill works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Zarus shoots in but no luck this time.
This has been an exciting period of action!
ONeill throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
ONeill with a hook.
Zarus closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
ONeill thuds his right hand into Zarus's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sloppy strikes from ONeill. Those never looked like landing.
A left and a right from ONeill both land. Nice combination.
ONeill displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Zarus.
Kissy ONeill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Azir Zarus.
Zarus takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Left hook, right uppercut from ONeill.
A jab lands there for ONeill.
ONeill throws a one two combo.
Zarus is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
ONeill cracks Zarus on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Zarus falls backwards against the cage. ONeill follows up with more strikes that drop Zarus to his knees. ONeill keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Zarus! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kissy ONeill!
