Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shu Fang Tzeng (ranked 1204 p4p, 1048 weight class) and Markus Haland (ranked 73 p4p, 60 weight class). Tzeng comes to the cage accompanied by Mantra Chant. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shu Fang Tzeng! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Markus Haland! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tzeng tries to clinch up. Haland throws out a counter right but Tzeng avoids it with no problem. Tzeng rushes Haland and presses him up against the cage. Haland breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tzeng takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Haland just misses with a punch to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Haland scores with a hook to the body. Tzeng takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Haland throws an off balance right hand
and Tzeng counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Haland! Tzeng is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Haland knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Tzeng wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Haland, who protects the arm well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haland tries to escape but Tzeng is in control. Haland really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tzeng. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tzeng has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Haland is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Tzeng yanks on the arm and Haland is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Tzeng.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Shu Fang Tzeng! A relieved looking Shu Fang Tzeng thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
