Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reno Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.
Silva throws a head kick but Gonzalez moves out of range.
Gonzalez tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Gonzalez shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Gonzalez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Reno Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gonzalez's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
