Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Connor Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sexton Furnival (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice combo by Jones! Oh, that's hurt him - Furnival falls to the canvas and Jones follows him into side control.
It looks like Sexton Furnival has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Furnival is not content to let Jones control the position.
Jones remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Furnival tries to buck Jones off but Jones is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones tries to move into full mount but can't pass Furnival's legs.
Furnival wants to control but Jones postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Furnival is looking to reverse the position.
You can see the frustration on Furnival's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Furnival gets back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Furnival kicks off Jones and gets to his feet.
Furnival misses the shot to the body.
Jones moves into range and clinches up with Furnival.
Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jones takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Connor Jones has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Furnival tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.
A head kick by Furnival - that's a beauty! Jones is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Furnival can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Sexton Furnival!
