Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Rothco (ranked 1441 p4p, 1048 weight class) and Patrick Bower (ranked 207 p4p, 151 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The crowd cheers as Bower lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rothco doesn't seem phased though.

As Bower looks to move away, Rothco throws a big counter combo but Bower just gets out of the way.

Rothco swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Rothco takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Rothco throws a hook to the side of Bower's head but Bower sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Bower counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Bower clobbers Rothco with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Bower wants to counter the offense by Rothco and move into the clinch position.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Rothco might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Bower closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Rothco! Bower dives in looking to finish! Rothco is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Patrick Bower!
A relieved looking Patrick Bower thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
The defeated Frank Rothco had this to say: 'He caught me, just bad luck.'.
