Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Winston Cooper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Michael Benitoy! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Cooper is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cooper gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Benitoy gets tackled into the cage by Cooper. Cooper maintains the clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cooper stalling in the clinch but Benitoy improves position. Benitoy wants the takedown. Cooper is fighting it off but Benitoy persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cooper's guard against the cage. Benitoy lands a couple of digs.
Cooper is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cooper looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Oh Cooper is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Benitoy working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cooper's head. Benitoy loads up on a big left hand. Cooper felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Benitoy looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Cooper can't hide his disappointment, as Benitoy celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Michael Benitoy! John Michael Benitoy really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that UnderGround Supplements logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
