Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Werner Ziegler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jayson Tatum!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.

Tatum circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ziegler shoots in and drives through. Tatum sprawls well.
Tatum tries to counter with a clinch but Ziegler shakes him off and moves away.
Ziegler throws a head kick that misses
and Tatum cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tatum connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ziegler looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tatum is fending him off so far but Ziegler persists. Nope, Tatum circles away and we're back to standing.
Tatum lands a glancing blow to the side of Ziegler's head.
Ziegler throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ziegler fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Werner Ziegler. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Tatum counters by moving into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A head punch on the inside from Ziegler fails to land.
Ziegler tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Tatum's elbow.
Ziegler wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tatum has him pressed against the cage.

Tatum prevents Ziegler from breaking the clinch.
Tatum comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Werner Ziegler has been cut.
Tatum is pushing Ziegler up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Ziegler tries to circle away but Tatum has him pinned against the cage.

Ziegler is trying to maintain a safe position but Tatum gets an underhook and turns Ziegler into the cage.
Ziegler is trying to break free.
Tatum will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Ziegler up against the cage.
Tatum wants the takedown. Ziegler is fighting it off but Tatum persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ziegler's guard against the cage.
Ziegler wants to get back to his feet but Tatum passes into half guard.
Ziegler might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tatum looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ziegler with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Tatum has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ziegler is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Tatum scores with a couple of nice shots.

Tatum is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tatum frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Ziegler is trying to escape the mount.
Tatum postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ziegler looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ziegler is desperately trying to improve his position but Tatum has a good base and remains in mount.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jayson Tatum dominated that round.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ziegler tries to move into range but Tatum moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Tatum lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Ziegler is rocked!
Tatum pushes Ziegler away with a front kick.
Ziegler shoots in for a takedown but Tatum shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tatum drops his shoulder and cracks Ziegler with a huge uppercut! Ziegler goes down! Can Tatum finish him?
Oh Ziegler is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tatum stays in close to Ziegler's body and controls the position.
Tatum arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Ziegler's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jayson Tatum!
